DIY elbow patches and a little pocket

Once upon a time a girl had a shirt that she loved, it came from spain and fitted her perfectly. It was blue with light and dark spots. Unfortunately, when the shirt went into the wash, it got bigger and the shirt changed into one colour. The girl was sad and didn’t wear the shirt very often. The shirt got lonely and wanted to be worn again.

what you’ll need:

  • A shirt
  • Some fabric
  • A sewing machine or a needle
  • Some thread
  • Pins

Cut out two circles that are thick enough to cover your elbows.

Pin down the edges to the back with some pins.

Sew down the edges.

Pin down the patches to the elbows and sew it down as well.

To make the pocket, cut out a square. Fold in the edges and sew them down. Sew it on the shirt and you have a pocket.
