I don’t know when you would need it, but if you were ever in a desperate need of a stuffed animal… You would only need two socks. It is really easy, really cute and a great way to recycle some old socks.

What you’ll need

  • 2 socks
  • 3 buttons
  • Needle and thread
  • Stiffed animal filling

In the picture above you can see the parts of the socks you need. Cut them out from both sides of the red sock, so you’ll have two of everything. You only need one circle though, so only cut that out once.

Put the pieces right sides together and sew around the edges. Turn them inside out and add the white circle to the head.

Take two buttons. I didn’t have any black ones so I took white ones and made them black with a marker.

Add two buttons for the eyes and one for the nose. Take a needle and thread and make the mouth.

Fill the arms with some stuffed animal filling and attach them to the sides of the body with needle and thread.

Fill the body and the head with the filling as well.

Take the body and close it off with needle and thread.  Attach the head to the body and you have a stuffed animal made out of socks!

  1. That is incredibly cute, seriously! Well done, it looks so adorable in its little mug there. I want to cuddle it right away, that’s when you know you’ve made a cute plushie!
